Apply Pan Card Online with Aadhaar

You can easily apply for a PAN card online using your Aadhaar card. Here’s how:

  • Visit the official website of the Income Tax Department of India.
  • Select the “Apply for PAN” option.

  • Verify your identity using your Aadhaar card.

Options to Apply PAN CARD online:

You have two options for Apply PAN CARD Online via PANCARD application form 49A or 49AA

Option 1 is online request from Via NSDL portal & option 2 is Online Via UTIITSL.

1- Online Request Form Via NSDL Portal

Go to the UTIITSL or NSDL portal.

  • Step 1: Go to the portal for NSDL. Go to the NSDL website to start your PAN card application process to apply pan card download.
  • Step 2: Select the Category and Application Type. Either choose “New PAN – Indian Citizen (Form 49A)” or “New PAN – Foreign Citizen (Form 49AA)” as the application type. Select ‘Individual’ from the ‘Category’ option.
  • Step 3: Provide personal information. Enter the required personal details and then click on ‘Submit’
  • Step 4: Get the token number. You will receive a Token Number on your email address following submission. Select ‘Continue with PANCARD Application Form 49A/49AA’.
  • Step 5: Send in your paperwork. There are three choices for you for apply pan card online:

–  Use e-KYC & e-Sign to digitally submit (paperless)

–  Send scanned copies of your photos via e-Sign.

–  Forward application documents physically.

You will be asked for your Aadhaar card data for apply pan card duplicate if you decide to go paperless. With Aadhaar OTP, you may complete the process online without having to upload any papers.

  • Step 6: Select the Physical PAN Card. Decide if you really need a physical PAN card. If not, you’ll get an email with it. The apply card fees are determined by this option and the mode of submission.
  • Step 7: Input Aadhaar information. Enter your name, gender, date of birth, parents’ names, and Aadhaar card details.
  • Step 8: Give your address and phone number. Provide your phone number, email address, residential address, office address (if applicable), communication address, and sources of income.
  • Step 9: Upload Document and AO Code. After entering your AO code, upload the necessary files. After completing the declaration, select “Submit.”
  • Step 10: Make payment for fees. You will receive an acknowledgment with a 15-digit number after payment. Should you have opted for a physical submission, print the acknowledgment, attach your picture and signature, and mail it along with the necessary paperwork to the specified address.

You can check PAN number online, the PAN card will be sent to the home address you have supplied once your application form of PANCARD has been processed, which should take normally 15 to 20 days.

If you choose E- PANCARD option at the time of filing application online then e-PAN CARD will be received on your registered email id.

2- Online Via UTIITSL :

  • Step 1: Go to the website of UTIITSL. Start the application process for a PAN card by visiting the UTIITSL website.
  • Step 2: Choose ‘Apply for New PAN Card’. To begin the application process, select the ‘Apply for New PAN Card’ page.
  • Step 3: Select the Submission Mode and Provide Details. Choose the document submission method and indicate “Individual” as the apply pan card status. After that, choose the PAN card mode and press “Submit.”
  • Step 4: Obtain the reference number. A reference number will be issued to you upon registration of your request. Press ‘OK’ to continue.
  • Step 5: Enter your address and personal information. Please enter your address, document, contact, and parent’s information. Select ‘Next Step’ to proceed.
  • Step 6: Send in Documents and Finish Up. After uploading the necessary files, submit your application.
  • Step 7: Print the form and make the payment. Select the online payment method of your choice, complete the payment, and watch for the success message. Make a copy of the form for your documentation. If you choose physical submission in Step 4, print the form, sign it, attach the necessary documents, and mail it to the UTIITSL PAN PDC In-charge office that is closest to you.
  • Step 8: Send the completed form, the necessary paperwork, and the appropriate costs to the closest PAN facility.
